Fall Ball here in Kansas City, usually means meshing kids together who have chosen baseball to be their sport of choice for the fall. Many of the kids on the summer teams choose to play tackle football which, if you weren't aware, is a 6 day a week time commitment, so they do not have time to also play baseball. Cole has never been interested in tackle football thus far, so we haven't pushed it. His love for baseball keeps us going well into October, which is great. This fall he joined the KC Athletics. Cole's best friend, Corey, from 1st grade at Barry School is on this team (his dad actually is the manager) and so we hooked up with them to play this fall. Cole's summer team was not playing this fall and we have not been super happy with the organization and coaching of the summer team, so we were excited to be part of the Athletic's this fall. Cole had a great time. It was fun to see his and Corey's friendship begin right where it had left off when Cole left Barry School in 2nd grade. Although our season had lots of ups and downs, overall Cole was happy and successful this fall. Enjoy a few pictures from our last tournament.
