Happy Birthday to my one and only baby boy, Cole Thomas. I know, it's hard to believe that 11 years ago Cole was blessing our life with his presence. What a wonderful evening it was. Only could have been more perfect if his daddy had been there. Cole continues to mature and come into his teen years more and more each day. He truly continues to have a huge heart that can take a beating when it is let down. Cole is very passionate about two things currently, baseball and video games. We love that baseball continues to be a huge part of his life and decided to aide his passion with installing a batting cage in the backyard. It was so nice to have the neighbors over sitting on the lawn yesterday afternoon watching the boys smoke the ball in the batting cage. We are so lucky that Cole has found great friends in our neighbors Jordan and Jake. They truly are going to be life long friends.
We are so proud of Cole for all that he has become in school, sports, and as a wonderful big brother. He absolutely adores Macy and she just loves to look at him and giggle. He also has such wonderful patience with MErrick. He still loves to spend time with her (of course sometimes he also knows the exact right buttons to push to send her over the edge into meltdown mode-what is it with brothers and that instinct) and he can calm her down in the midst of a meltdown where mom is losing it.
Thanks Cole for all you do. We love you and hope you had a wonderful 11th birthday.
