Pinkalicious was thought up by Nana (my mom) as she bought the book that Merrick is holding called Pinkalicious. It is about a little girl who loves her pink cupcakes and eats too many. She turns pink. The doctor says she has pinktitus and has to eat green foods to be cured. She continued to eat pink cupcakes and turned red and then she wanted to become herself again so she eats lots and lots of green fruits and veggies. This helps her to be normal again. So our party was also a pinkalicious party.
We played Limbo with pink crete paper, we played pin the pink tutu on the princess, we made pretty pink necklaces and finally decorated our own pink cupcakes. We did all this plus opened presents in an hour and a half. It went well. Merrick had a blast and loved playing limbo and eating her pink cupcake. If you noticed the girls were all in pink! It was well worth the little fuss I made. I believe the kids enjoyed their time and Merrick has memories that will last a lifetime (thanks to the photo album my mom also purchased for the day). We are glad she had a great 3rd birthday. Today she announced that it was not her birthday anymore and she was ready to be 4. Little girls!
