Making Cookies!

Macy and MatthewThe Savages came today to meet Macy and to have a playdate. We had a blast and the time went way too fast as usual! Baby Matthew and Baby Macy were superb-but didn't spend any time meeting eachother as they both slept most of the time. Nicholas and Merrick seemed to really have a good time playing together. They played with play doh-they pretended to camp, they played in the basement with Cole, and made sugar cookies! It was so nice to have Jen around to just chat with! Jen is such a great friend and I am so happy that I have her in my life. It is always nice to have someone to talk to about kids and life. Since we have kiddos the same age, it is easy to discuss things that are tough for us or just to share all the new and exciting things that our kids are doing. Friends who don't have kids or ones that have older kids don't always understand what we are talking about-so it is nice to have someone who does. Thanks Jen for being a great friend and always being a listening ear when I need to vent, whine, or share exciting news with.
Jen was also so sweet as she brought over a meal for us to eat tonight (and enough to freeze and eat later). It was so yummy-we all loved it very much! Thanks again!
